Spring Is In The Air

  Cool Winter morning
Earth soft underfoot
Dark and dough-like
Sparsly doppled with snow
Things that seem begging
For me to know
Burnt grass of last Summer
half-frozen green makes me remember
the cold November and December
January, February gone
March marching through too
Just the morning frost
Not yet morning dew
But Spring is in the air
Feel it struggling to shine trough
as the perfect half moon
faces the sunrise
giving the world an opposite view
The refreshing cold air fills up my lungs
and I clear them with a loose cough
and take in the trees
while noticing birds aloft
Spring is in the air
Can be felt in the rays
The blue is peeking through
the Winter clouds and greys
the pine cones are stuck in the mud
remember the weight of the snow
now missing more than present
wherever this morning I go
The bamboo now standing up straight
minus the frozen weight
Spring is in the air
I can't hardly wait
The seasons are changing
I hope too my fate
