Leave a dent
Not a smell
Not the voice
‘Cause it gets driven away by wind

Forever nostalgic are the bird chirps, songs and cries
Forever nostalgic are the echoes that sound long, short and disappear

The rock will be there with marks
Silent and steady presence
Trail traced by hard knocks
Stamp of presence to silence uppity minds
