Stand on end
- - - - - - - - -
Blushes on his cheek
In breast bears many wounds
Through struggles and toils
Far away he goes
Like a bird where no one knows
By cloud or isle
But back home with a smile
Like a leaf cast off to the flowing tide
In a while seen drifting ashore in either side
Deep in him sits his fate
To mould his fortunes best
Thus one day he wandered to a land
Quiet unknown to him but a place
He thought the right one to live in peace
Knowing well he would be facing nemesis
But soon he was relentless
Finding himself fit to circumstances
And the fate building mute countenance
People said he could not withstand stormy seas
But fortune's favour and God's decree
Even sitting still at home
No one can escape the doom that fate decrees
Deep in him sits his fate To mould his fortunes best.............our fate is invisible at start.......will explore later................nice
By staying in a sheltered place no one can warrant safety. In the same way, even if one makes perilous journeys, he needn't face danger if God or Fate wills otherwise! Great write!
The mould his fortunes best, Stand on end but no one can escape the doom, beautiful way of presentation. Nicely expressed and meaningful. Smile with smile the poem tells many tales in single point. Nice ever.
I like your style of writing.....with many exciting and perfect similes......Keep it up!

Thoughtful write. Even sitting still at home No one can escape the doom that fate decrees Very true said, in few lines.....no one can escape from what lies in our fate. Loved the way you presented it.
