Starfire Poem by Waseem Sherif

Starfire

I'm being born anew into the universe of sounds.
I float in space I explode into particles and disperse
like stars - I AM the stars I am the fire of existence
I am the breath surpassing the distance
I am the dream of every glowing star forming rhythms
and singing the quintessence of the universe
the shallow, the deep, the hollow may weep
in vibrations we speak the collective memory
a fire within to hold us to a moment of eternity
the vastness of instruments of imagination
is a portal to the next plane of perception
the world is not what you see - but what you hear.
