Stay Aloof Poem by Rex-mayor Ubini

Stay Aloof

We can’t be friends,
neither be enemies,
’cause love is hard to find,
and I can’t get you out of my mind,
no matter the space of years
or the counts of moons,
it will only honour me with endless tears,
and won’t get over it soon.
Because I truly love you.
We can’t be friends,
We just have to stay aloof
But we are not foes.
