Still God Turns Around Every Life To His Will Poem by Gert Strydom

Still God Turns Around Every Life To His Will

(for Annelize)

When I see the wonder of God's work,
notice the gambolling birds and their songs do surprise,
when orange-red like always the sun rises,
I know that the future holds something beautiful.
When I do not trust the actions of people
and those that lie and deceive think a person is stupid,
still God turns every life around to His will,
on the leaves shine the early morning-dew,
then I know about the love of Him and you and me,
when He acts without man knowing it,
when I get new insights of you,
do not want to forget the moments with you,
while moments linger in my most beautiful memories:
when a yearning for everything with you in life besets me.
