Still The Same Poem by Silence Dogood

Still The Same

Rating: 5.0

And I'll smile.
And you'll wave.
And we'll pretend.
That everythings okay

When nothings right.
And everything a mess.
When tears crash.
And your worst is your best.

Because were pro at pretending.
When its all just a lie.
Were excellent at smiling.
When tears fill our eyes.

Its just like any other day.
No happy end.
We laugh like its funny.
And talk with our friends.

But its just weve perfected our way of life.
So that nothings really changed.
We smile like we always have.
We act like were still the same.
