Storm Poem by Charles Reed

Storm

Fear, empowerment, anger, and pain.
These are the things that run through my veins.
Hateful, reproachful, irritated and struck.
These are the things that buzz in my head
Deceit, shallow secrets, sly deals and turnings
These are the things that my eyes gaze upon
Pain, grief, sadness and longing
These are the things that swim in my heart
I am a storm
And these are my disasters
