Stranger Poem by Thabang Mphuthi

Stranger

I miss u.
I don't even know u, but i miss u,
U brought warmth to my livin corpse
Reconnected my dyin cells, u brought life
U were stranger just passin' through
And u took my heart with you
When performed a surgery,
U stole my heart, u did not ask
U were stranger just passin' through

I miss u,
I don't even know u, but i miss u,
Care for my heart stranger...
If the journey brings u back to my path,
Return my heart with no cracks.
It was strange that i fell into ur arms,
And i caught ur eyes,
Clothed with passion and love,
Giggled, but tried to hide it when i fell
Right into ur arms.
Stranger. i miss u, i don't even know u.

I kissed the moon tonight,
My kiss vanished into night sky.
Whisper to the wind, let ur voice find me,
Play the night to sleep with Jeanne Baxtresser's
Flute, sing lullaby to midnight chaspers
With ur gentle voice.
Kiss the moon tonight,
Let ur kiss vanish into night sky,
Whisper to the wind, let ur voice find me.

I miss u,
The sun brought u kiss,
Awakening the lillies of the field,
Lillies. Elegant, charming, beautiful,
Your attributes.
How i miss u, stranger, i don't even know u.
You came like Robin Hood, prince of thieves,
And u stole me in my sleep.
