Baby our love was
so strong it struck
like lightning
but now its gone
and just like lightning
it struck so hard
but it didn't
stay long
no, it didn't last
in a flash
so fast it all
become the past
Baby
we were just young
and we didn't know
that true love
will sometimes
get up and go
love can be kind
from the very start
but its got a bad habit
of leaving you
with a broken heart
baby our love
was so strong
it struck like lightning
but now its gone!
