Water and air
Fire and ground
Peace and pain
Silence and words
Knives and swords
Body and soul
Multitude and whole
Fate and freedom
Faith and disbelief
Happiness and grief
Crossed and blessed
Stuck within the elements
Encapsulated within possibilities
With a frightening freedom of choices
Some strike against the limits
Some shelter themselves against the voids
All of us with self-seeking thoughts
To find the warmth under the sky
