Substance
Today, this pen has the chance,
Its moment of eternal worth -
To weave some words of Substance,
Perhaps in Wisdom, carried forth.
One opportunity to touch and be
A blessing, with Inspiration write,
Messages of Hope, of nature's Beauty-
Images abound for thought and sight.
It will not waste its time or purpose
For days are leaves that soon may fall.
Its ink may dry and in Death, repose
Till then, it remains true to its call.
