Substance to abuse it,
Makes the act to excuse...
The addiction to prevent facts,
As lacking in potency.
By those seeking a 'fix',
Of easy to get delusions.
With cheapened fantasies blended.
Diminishing truth allowed dismissed.

Defenseless truth,
Appears now on trial.
Along with evidence of it produced.
To proclaim and blame truth overwhelms,
Those who have a preference...
To remain and keep feeding,
On deception and confusion...
They have come to know too well.

Substance to abuse it,
To excuse and ignore.
Has made many too accepting,
Truth to live should be refused.
For more delusions.
Never found to bore.
And this rejection of the truth,
Seduces to reduce reality to fear.
Leaving truth to believe it threatens.
With many wishing to want,
From their lives truth disappears!
