Such Ignorance Poem by Ann Beard

Such Ignorance

Rating: 4.8

I have known such ignorance,
that only lonely children know.
Dabbled in stupidity, by chance,
survived, and tried to grow.

I have shown such thoughtlessness,
that only selfish youth display.
Bowed before aggressiveness,
wept for lovers who betray.

In me has grown such depth of feeling,
love for every newborn child.
My season changing heart revealing,
moments, have my very soul beguiled.

A lovely little poem, Ann. A salient lesson, succinctly put. Good rhyming, good flow. Well done.

It is said that many a times ignorance is bliss. It is not possible for any one to have knowledge of every thing. He can, however, strive to get knowledge of all things required to be accustomed with. Straight forward confession of ignorance is a great thing. Thanks for sharing.10 points.
