Such Is Tale Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Such Is Tale

Rating: 5.0

We must look ordinary
In our approach if it is necessary
Simple show of wealth and well being
Creates impression as that of hollow things

What even if you own bungalows?
Large number of body guards follow
Many vehicles with red lights put siren on
As if some prestigious work is done

People may exclaim” oh this man”
He was vendor few years ago and poor man
He was selling small items in hand lorry
Now he has no time and remains always in hurry

What sense it carries with show off?
People cut jokes and merely laugh
“He has amassed wealth from public fund”
Now he has to show it all round

Some of public figures try to avoid
At least hide for the fear of being raided
If you are in habit of promise breaking
Many may be waiting for position and staking

Such people come on light cats top
They will go for grabbing non stoop
One day they be exposed and find behind bar
Such is the tale of “show off” people to be pushed off very far
