Sudden Reaction Poem by Dennis Mzwakhe Pitso

Sudden Reaction

I became blind to the rear view of beauty
But my eyes captured a queen in the mist of darkness
As I gazed, my gist raced, my thoughts paced and my figure chased
Her beauty so divine that the daughter of Zues can't help but loath
In an attempt to treasure the meaning of this case
Fate misled and that's how we met
Yearning for her reaction; I experienced conflict
In a turtle pace I approached happiness
Yes Happiness, that's her meaningful name
Rooted in the philosophy of why we live
Time advanced, Concern sprung up like a creeping plant
And our souls banded like conjoined twins
With an urge to fulfill, my search is deathless
I gasp you into my life, catch my breath like a kiss of an angel you are.
