Sudoku Poem by Sunita Chandla

Sudoku

Rating: 5.0

When I'm tired and have nothing better to do
I eagerly settle down to crack a Sudoku
Sometimes my efforts go in vain
Yet I continue to tease my brain

More than often it becomes a matter of hours
when the solution seems farther than Mars
Then a little break does the trick
Numbers flow and I quickly tick

The other day, suggested a friend of mine
To sip along a glass of wine
'' You are not young or aged 22
To easily solve a ''difficult Sudoku

It doesn't come easy- to make numbers entwine
Besides, , who is in a hurry-so it's just fine
A secret that I may quietly share with you
To complete -it takes me a day or two

Now, on this- you may make an opinion too
How crazy of me - to be addicted to Sudoku
I'm guilty and aware of the time it can devour
yet, can't relent believing 'Grapes are sour''

My gut somehow says there's nothing you can't do
Dear, head on meet the challenge of Sudoku!
