Suicidal Poem by Randy McClave

Suicidal

If the world treats you unkind
And suicide ever crosses your mind,
Just know I would rather listen to your story
Than to attend your funeral in any sadness or glory.
I would rather listen to every word that you had to say
Than from your demise to sit and pray,
And yes indeed I am a Christian
So, every word that you speak I promise I will listen.
Do not ever think or believe that no one does care
And that for you no one is ever there,
Please, please remember this, that I and others are here
And from you, we will not ever leave or disappear.
Remember, no one ever truly stands alone
Someone who cares will always hear your moan,
So, if the world ever treats you unkind
Please, don't let suicide ever cross your mind.
