Suicide Poem by Alfonso Faison

Suicide

Sometime it's bigger than you.
Sometime when that phone ring it's to hear a voice to save one life.
Most of us feel the bottom is no longer stable and the only way to feel good is to let go.
Hell, it's no foundation to hold you; so, what's keeping you up?

Sometime it's bigger than you.
Yeah we had a huge fight but, that phone call I made to you is to hear your voice to keep from this Kurt Cobain.
How many of you lost it, like, went insane...
Took every negative outcome and took the blame?
That ignore button you press was my BANG.

Sometime it's bigger than you.
That precious say 'I love you' keep me level and eased my pain.
Now I'm lifeless and your-self center emotion feel victory because you thought it was a game.

Sometime it's bigger than you.
Ones drinking habit was caused by being a pessimist and need your optimist to keep that little flame- that joy, happiness, that sunshine when it rain.

Keep pressing that ignore button when it rang....
You'll be contemplating why your love one blew out their brain.

Sometimes it's bigger than you...
Who else a ignore button life will claim....?
