Summer Poem by Marilyn Lott

Summer

Summer brings me happiness
Warm weather makes me smile
I may go to the ocean
For just a little while.

I'll pack some camping gear
Ice chests to carry my food
In all the bursting sun
Now wouldn't this feel good?

Oh, please don't let it rain
I beg of you weather man
Perhaps a few white clouds
That's something I could stand.

Yes, summer brings me happiness
The ocean I will pursue
If you could pack a few things
Then you, my friend, could go too!
