Summer fun

long weeks of rain,
contain
so much water
of the dark sky and heavy clouds

not only on my terrace,
the wind blows so hard in my face

the flood tide
do me no good

petrichor everywhere
especially on the too-long dry streets
nobody notices
that the weather is like this almost every day
a little too fresh
for a pleasantly warm summer day

I am quite satisfied
with the present
even though it rains almost every day
and also every night

I adapt easily
the grass, the plants, and the flowers
no, the bees don't come buzzing anymore,
they stay quietly in place
no, on the contrary,
they are not crazy
they have discovered
hey damn!
It can also be very cozy at home,
then always
to stay together in swarms,
keep buzzing every day

Grandma Bee
makes delicious cake
with delicious hot tea,
here at home with Grandma Bee
it's just as cozy
as in the crowded beehive, verily!

enjoy this summer fun to the fullest!
Life will be so pleasantest!
