Summer Love Poem by Meg H...

Summer Love

A summer breeze
Gently kisses my cheeks
I take a moment
And breathe you in
In the misty moonlight
Your eyes speak a thousand words
I taste the faintness of your cologne—
The bittersweet scent of you
I can sense the storm
Blowing in from the coast
The conversation is easy
Though I feel distracted
By your eyes
And the gentle touch
Of your angel skin
I wonder about your motives
Yet I know them well
I can’t help but smile
For here in this blissful doubt
And your divine wrath
I find more than
Summer love.
