Sunlight And Shadows Poem by Jill Shah

Sunlight And Shadows

The cold seeps through
Clothes and skin,
Numbing you to the bone.
You don't want to move another step.
Just lie down, go home.

Let me walk in the sunshine.

In the places not hidden
Under the cold shadows,
Warmly the sun shines,
Its fierce rays embrace you,
And you feel fine.

There are too many here.

You keep getting lost in the shadows of others.
All you want, is the sunshine.
