Sunny Thoughts Poem by Ans Maria Xavier

Sunny Thoughts

Rating: 5.0

City lights outglowed the setting sun
But it was the sun, who blinded me.
He was no stranger to the stars
Nor to the moon.
Whole universe praised his glory
For that sky was not his limit.

Don't know why he hide behind those dark clouds,
Perhaps he too wanted to be alone for sometime
Kindling himself within the lights of his lonely thoughts,
Hearing the whisperings of the heart of that hot globe.
