Sunset Poem by colin pring

Sunset

Rating: 4.0

Illuminated bright orange once again,
the calm ocean surface participates
in the cooling embrace of another sunset.
A chill is in the air
and clouds float gracefully
across the ever weakening light
of the once fiery sun.
And on the eastern fringes,
night-time grows
in its relentless pursuit
of the now departed sun.
