Sunshine Poem by JAMES T. ADAIR

Sunshine

Felt your rays
beating down on me
warming me inside
surrounding me

Felt your soft caress
press
Your breasts against my chest
heartbeat rises to say yes

Life's a mess
though I try
I feel the test
must push to do better, best

Sunshine
Dream of you
Feel you surround
Hear my heart pound

Nobody's around
Just the thought of you so high
Keeps my head in the sky
My feet on the round

Feel you through the rain
through the sadenss, lonlines and pain
thought the things left along the wayside
discarded dreams in vain

I see you when you rise
and when you set
on you returning someday
I place my last dreamers bet

But I feel you beating
from somewhere up above
thought today's dark coulds
shining rays of hopeful love
