I stood at the edge of the cliff fearless,
staring at the sky alive with fire,
a fire running across the galaxy like an adventuress,
in pursuit of its hearts deepest desire.
The luminous rays forming a thread,
between I and the explosion in the sky.
Stunned and captivated by a bond that bled,
and bathed all that could be, in a crimson dye.
As I stepped into the arms of the bursting heavens,
I was engulfed by the heat of the explosion.
A roller coaster of ecstasy and other emotions,
my body effervescent as though drunk from a magic potion.
I awoke then, and saw the sky calm and blue.
And twas then unmistakably true.
The explosion was not in the sky or the stars,
the emotion and the fire that were tearing me apart,
were naught but her - the supernova in my heart.
