Surprise Poem by Hazel O'Dell

Surprise

Rating: 4.0

The rainbow in the summer.
The flowers in the spring,
The snowflakes of the winter
Protecting everything.

The colors of the autumn.
The smell of newmown hay.
The robin song and dew drop.
The starry night and day.

The bird, the bee, the cactus.
The moon, the stars, the sun.
The peaceful gift of twilight
When tiring days are done.

When everything was in order
For all the world to see,
Then from a tiny bit of dust
God's love made even me.
