Sweet Azalea’s Poem by Marilyn Lott

Sweet Azalea’s

Rating: 5.0

There is nothing like the Azalea
So welcome in the spring
Colors that warm your heart
Excitement they always bring

Purple and red and pinks
The yellows are so very pale
But one thing you can depend on
Are these flowers without fail

Some bushes of the Azalea
Are fairly small in size
Others are nearly as large as trees
So pretty they can win a prize

We see all colors in the yards in spring
And the beauty will capture a park
Why, I could linger all day long
And not leave until nearly dark

So enjoy these lovely flowers
In spring they are certainly a draw
If you enjoy flowers then, my friend
You will love the sweet Azalea!
