Sweet Victory Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Sweet Victory

Read my lines and listen to my voice,
To lead a quiet life and to mind my own business;
With the strong sense of nationalism,
And, to walk in honesty.

Let your speech always be with love and,
Seek after the truth in this life and live;
For, i am now caught up in the clouds of true love!
With the sweet victory of peace and joy.

How old are you today?
How old am i today?
Like the story of a finacial discomfiture;
In skills, creativity and organisation.

The muse of life!
To water the flowers of love;
But, why should i water them when,
The garden is already wet by you!
Yes, i need to wait for my time to take my turn;
On this work;
And, to educate the masses with my style of poetry.

Sweet victory!
With the potentials to make it through;
And, according to the ways of nature,
However, with adventures and failures at times.
Muse, fuse, use, infuse, defuse, refuse!
With the creativity of the minds and, the odds of life;
But, i have to wait for my turn at the right time.
