Swimming In Brazil

The undertow pulled on my strong legs
until I was forced below the surface of the water
into another world where chaos is infinite
and easily devours all rational thought
where one gasp can fatally fill healthy lungs with water
and drown any glimpse of surviving the death pull
Swimming with the currents force
I am finally released by the riptide.....
only to face the open jaws of sharks.....
