Swirls In The Water Poem by Random Poet

Swirls In The Water

They say red is a snake
that turns around and bites oneself
because he
not knowingly
having faith for the other colour
too much -
(which is why he is red)

Ah, blue then,
which meditates to
let go
and relates all
but then makes all his flaws
more understood, which is why
he turns to

Green
Is not an old wives' tale
Like carrots she said so
Is full of energy
and life
which bursts into colours

Of all fashions that come together
To create a family
That spins to create
and creates to spin
Life around in an everlasting circle.

Yellow, of course...
Is not missed out,
he makes things go in the dark,
which is why
someone told Blue never to wear
Yellow when taking Green
because Yellow always reveals.

Yellow then needs black,
To stay out of the foreground
To make himself the loner of it all
He stays still
Like blue, but not that shown.
But just like the birds and the bees,
Black needs his own arch-rival.
Which is why someone came out with

White, which isn't exactly a colour,
just the mix of all the rest,
and labelled
He is the majority of everything,
He is life itself
Life with personality!

Then what about me?
Ha.
I guessed I'm none of them.
