Symbol Of Love Poem by Deepak Calyampoondi

Symbol Of Love

From the womb from where i come,
I'm taught to hate no one,
I'm born to spread fragrance,
only the fragrance of love,
for i am a symbol of love.

From where i am i can see,
people searching for their destiny,
some are loved till they live,
some long for love until they die,
I'm taught to hate no one,
I'm born to spread fragrance,
only the fragrance of love,
for i am a symbol of love.

some seek me for many occassions,
I'm there only for decoration,
I cannot cry, i have to laugh,
I'm taught to hate no one,
I'm born to spread fragrance,
only the fragrance of love,
for i am a symbol of love.

I regret not when in a lover's hand,
For i know i'll not be thrown on the sand,
when my life ends, their life will begin,
a worthwhile sacrifice, it's not a sin.
For it is the one's heart that he will win,
I'm taught to love everyone,
for i am their symbol of love.
