Thou have remained hidden in my heart
And which is why I could not find Thee
As I kept looking in my external world
Never bothered to look into heart for Thee

Forever Thou had been by me
In everything that I love, like and aspire
Yet, never did I bother to come to Thee!

Thou had been in me as a part of my joy
Amid those games in my life's journey
This made me absent-minded, Oh Lord
Forgetting altogether to sing Thy song!
