And from the breath of day
Reflect.
Love the flaws,
the imperfections
the Defect,
Embrace the humdrum.
the mundane.
the imperfect,
Avoid the pretentious,
the pompous
the unaccomplished
reject Meretricious souvenirs of a half-lived life.
Gathered, while not paying attention
Distracted by shiny things, avoiding strife.
Grieve
for your loss, for your hurt
for a gullible heart ready to believe.
