Take My Hand Poem by Sean Olivia

Take My Hand

Rating: 4.5

(Boy)
Please girl, take my hand
Let us walk for one more night
We'd leave footprints in the sand
Take my hand, hold on tight
(Girl)
Come on, let our souls be freed
We'll walk past the oceans and the seas
And when dawn breaks you would see
The desperate hearts of you and me
(Boy)
Oh girl, take me away
Bring me to a secret place
To gentle music the trees would sway
Our hearts would be like delicate lace
(Girl)
We can go there, yes we can
But promise not to leave me
We could sit quietly on the fine sand
Watching seagulls drink the sea
(Boy)
Yes girl, take my hand
It would lead you to freedom
Bring you to peaceful beaches and faraway lands
Or even magical kingdoms
(Girl)
I'd take your hand and we'll run
Past the memories, yes we'll sprint
We'd watch the rising of the sun
And it's mystical golden tint
(Boy)
Yes we would, but first you must
Just take my hand, please take my hand
And bad memories would turn to dust
So take my hand, just take my hand
