War Poem by Sean Olivia

War

Rating: 4.5

They remained sanguine in their course,
Charging forward on their horses.
When they reached the city's gate,
I desperately clung on to my dwindling fate.
Out came our city's weak army,
But they're brave enought to defend our country.
Good and bad, they intertwine.
Clangs of swords and wounded soldiers whine.
Soon, the dust settles on the battle ground.
Where bodies of loved ones are savely found.
We cry over this battle, in grief we weep.
It was difficult to get over a defeat.
This time a thousand lives were lost,
Like poor souls, they were simply tossed.

Yo gurl! It's so nice to read. Full of emotion and part of a story. The only word that i can say is 'brilliant'.
