Take This Step, To Face Our Fait Poem by Kellyn, A Grau

Take This Step, To Face Our Fait

Open winds spread in the sky
Though shadows beckon it to rise
We’ll cast away all these dreadful lies
And begin a new destination
One that only you and I know
One that no one can take from us
So take my hand, I’ll lead the way
To past damnation and to salvation
No more running and no more fear
Over coming all obstacles
Our path have parted between the road
And darkness clung to both our souls
I’ll reach my hand out grasp you back
Pull the light back in our souls
So trust in me to make things right
To keep this war up and end the fight
I’ll stop all odds to be with you
To bring forth out untouched bliss
We completely one another
Feels like we can’t live with out each other
So let’s break free from these balls and chains
Ignore what wrong and face what’s right
We both can see the truth unfold
So here we go, against all odds
Take the devils hand and make our pledge
To sooth one another’s soul
To face eternity in sin
Only to feel that wonderful caress
Of our touch that seems to heal
Can we possibly ignore these emotions?
Do we choose to honestly be apart?
Or do we choose the path of fait
However bumpy and torn the road is
Some how we’ll survive it together
So cross our fingers and hold our hands
Plunge into the binding emotion of love
