I heard that you were taken,
The thought had crossed my mind before
But to hear the words aloud
Made them a reality

My heart was crushed
I thought that would be the end of
hope

But even after you confused
Just like you had done the year before
You sent me signals that were mixed
Glances which had meaning behind them
And moments when our skin would touch
When it did not need to

Those things make me somewhat angry with you
I feel like I can never figure you out
But at the end of the day
I know that love is stronger than anything
And my love for you will never die
