Takin' On The Heartache Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Takin' On The Heartache

Candle, burnin' out, unsettled
struck by the thorn of a red rose
like a animal with the need to roam
in search of something, something to satisfy the hunger
the feeling comes and never goes

You're such a mystery, cloudy skies, it's baffling
Ain't no sun to shine indefinantly
oh, you're like the rain, you're always pouring
soaked me up, drenched completely

Don't like to worry but I do
i'm takin' on the heartache
Love's got the best of me
and you don't see
its got the best of me
why can't you see
i'm takin' on the heartache
