Tale Of Melancholy Poem by eyara Rambac

Tale Of Melancholy

Rating: 5.0

Years of imprisonment in this constant illusion
a wild sacrifice to suffice my obsession
still walking on the path of your shadow
pierced by thorns of guilt and sorrow

The star refuse to tame this cruel night
nothing to stain the darkness
not even a wisp of light
i am blind, struggling to find peace
to exit this world of forbidden bliss

Trails are broken and forgotten by fate
misery would steal my soul in every step
amidst the silent lies the cry of fury
an endless voyage cruises heaven through hell

I failed to quench my thirst of victory
for envy is killing me in this journey
bury me with petals of sweet memories
and let your smile be a candle in my grave
