Talk To Me Poem by Platini Sagoe

Talk To Me

I pray for you
I pray for us
Not in other tongues
In the silence of the pain
Words can't say it all
Tears can't spill it all
Are You really coming?
Are we even worthy?
Say something...
My obsessions and addictions won't let go
Is there space for all 3 of us up there?
Would you take me as I am?
It's really not that bad down here,
Well, your grace abounds doesn't it?
I know my trust is empty
My faith is stronger in words
I lose close friends and family
Are their places secured? !
Say something...
Are their deaths lessons?
Could they have been better persons?
I chose this path, is it downhill?
Will I die a gem in the crust?
Would the world see your glory in me?
Are these questions a betrayal of trust?
