Tears Poem by Roann Mendriq

Tears

Rating: 5.0

For those who think a woman's weak
Each time a tear rolls down her cheek;
Stop right there! Be well aware,
Those little signs of her despair..

are potent drops of power that spill
to renew her courage, strength and will;
To cleanse her mind and calm her heart
To heal the wounds that tear apart

the very life she lives to tend,
to gently guide, love and defend;
Her tearstained face is battle-scarred,
A symbol of her vow to guard.

So when you see those tears be sure
That woman will arise, endure.

I don't know you or your poetry but this stirs in me a respect and desire to honor those women in my life who have such amazing strength of character. Thank you for that!
