Tears In Winter Poem by Gabe Florsheim

Tears In Winter

Rating: 2.5

If only for a moment
Can we hold each other near,
For the times we cried through winter nights
Are the times that I hold dear.

At times I think that I was wrong
To think you'd love me back
Oh, how the tears do burn my skin.
Oh, how I wish it were white and black.

If living in the snowflakes
Is what you really do,
I'll climb down from my mountain,
To see you love me too.

Why did you leave! ? Why did you go! ?
An answer that eludes me,
You are beautiful in every way
What is it you can't see?

Is the snowy world up on the hill,
A lonely life for you?
I'd die before denying that
I'm begging to see this through.

So let me give my aura's flame
And heal your burns that hide your glow.
I can be your sweet hot chocolate
with marshmallows in your world of snow.
