Hold your speed
O wayward Wind!
Do not tease
My restive mind-
Maltreat not
These flowers fair
Subdue not
All feelings kind-
Know? i think
For someone whose
Eyes are bright
But heart is blind-
Don't disturb
The heart-sick men
Joy's something
they never find-
So stop, and
Be my friend at once
Know? my goals
Are left behind-?
Don't disturb The heart-sick men Joy's something they never find- Amazing insight A great write Shahzia
wowwww speechless.......... gr8 display of poet genius i like the structure so much in short phrases engulfed the whole poetic domain thumb up
wah wah! what a beauty......... kia baat hai. i am totally undiscernable about the feelings i have for this poem...................................
On the face of it so pleasing light and lovely...fine words.... superb sparkling string. Howevr i have an issue with the dichotomy in the eecond stanza. Also the useage of question marks in the last few lines, to me, defies logic. But poetry is always open to many interpretations, perhaps i am being obtuse. Blessings and cheers
And we all know you are the real friend. You are the best.
Impressive poem. The wisdom imbedded in these wonderous verses is great Love this poem

An emotional appeal with the touch of a strange authority. A poem with right properties and I once more begin to muse over how short things become very beautiful Thank you Shahzia for writing this piece.
