Tell An Unfair Tell. Poem by Daniel Ikechukwu

Tell An Unfair Tell.

A narrative poem on the very tales that the very Nigerian indigeons heard in time past.

The gong of the owl sounded, when melodiously we hastened to hear of the sanctuary filled with rodents, discovered after the general's return. Mammals that sought for the land's file then feasted on it, they lamented. Another bamboozling music to loot the treasury dry.

As the sun continued to rise and set, men chewed the pains of squander after-a missing document in the law chambers.

But then I asked "who stole the missing budget? " In this incessant catastrophic chaos, A monkey left with our scarce legal tender, these might be the fulfilling echoes of his excellency's change blaze.

Laughter, more laughter among infants, The tv town crier's information was disseminated already,

A casket of mendacity we cried. Time came and time passed, Time passed a long heartbreaking havoc, it died down,

But, how then did a "phantom snake" get to our educational institute, with a raging aim-to elope with a thirty and six millions of naira, Come, lying woman, shut your buccal.

My God of all tribes!

This race has perceived a pungent of corruption, fallacy, fallacy says the old, fantasy, fantasy cries the young. Since the nation is now a comedy forest, let's say an ass and an elephant attacked two finance stores of their image as their logo.Sorry to the erred air.
