The Half Wit Poem by Daniel Ikechukwu

The Half Wit

I am wise and stupid
All is dark yet pellucid
Always amicable and amateur
Yet appears strictly hauteur.

Its just dusk and am feeble
Yes enticing, you think its a riddle
But at very daring
As fabulous as Aladdin's ring.

Too loquacious during summer
Like the moonlight during winter
I whom lives next to Paul
Accuses the brethren like Saul.

Am I nice or cantankerous
Very good or poisonous
Am always in my right senses
Yet engaged in many offences.

Surrounded by wealth
But can't buy and enjoy good health
I don't know what I live with
But what if I am a half wit.
