Temple Is The Heart Poem by Kesav Venkat Easwaran

Temple Is The Heart

Rating: 5.0

A temple is the place
Where a heart that smiles presides,
Humble of its shape,
And noble of its ways

The love that heals, cares
In actions gets revealed!
A pot profoundly full
Never goes on to spill

Fall not for a face
That smiles with cunning grace!
Such face could prove a fake
Could stealthily hide a knife!

A twinkle in the eyes
Juggling in the lips
Nimble in the limbs
The feeble get betrayed!

A wonderful poem imbued with insight and wisdom. Yes, it is the heart where truth lies. The closure lines are so perceptive and so true.

Heart. Yes. Its pinkness doesn't get that easily exposed. Thank you Rose Marie. Nice feedback. Liked

This is not only beautiful but full of wisdom. Those last two stanzas are a real warning about those who befriend you with their fake smiles, being there. TFS
