The All-Knowing People Poem by Kesav Venkat Easwaran

The All-Knowing People

Rating: 5.0

I have nothing against daytime.

But the night hours I like more-
I love the subtle whispers,
in the ears, they make
without noise

The wind outside chuckles
The moon shows a reddish glow

Would it rain? Or wouldn't it?
The clouds do not seem
to have much knowledge...

Better call the weatherman

Hello!

Yes! Who is making a call?
at the wee wee hours of the night -

Well..wanted to know about that rain...

This is the newspaper office, man!

Sorry. Wrong number.
But more than needy.
Tomorrow the sun would rise
Right?
