Temptation To Stray Poem by Sarah Sisson

Temptation To Stray

I am the nucleus of a new day.
How shall I spread the energy?
It is my selective contemplation.
To start anew is a kingdom of
wealth. Shall I ignore my sin and
continue with this welt in my
energy shell? Will I feel color
dissipate into a black scene I once
knew? I will ripple and smudge
my path and my light if I do
not recover from this
temptation to stray.
